Damp Proofing services, West Midlands
Dampness can occur within buildings when the existing damp course is no longer functioning. This results in moisture from the ground rising through the brickwork and mortar joints. Salt laden moisture then migrates to the plaster surfaces causing saturation and mould.
Defects causing internal dampness often include; high external ground levels, leaking gutters and downpipes, render finishes continuing to the ground, drainage and plumbing defects.
LRG Services Ltd damp proofing is usually carried out in the form of a silicone gel or cream that is injected into the masonry at the required level. Defective internal plaster finishes are removed where required, generally this is up to a metre from ground level. Previously plastered areas then receive a new coat of specialist plaster that will then be finished ready for decoration.
We cover the whole of the West Midlands, including Coventry, Birmingham, Rugby, Walsall, Worcester, Leicester, Derby, Gloucester, Hereford, Wolverhampton, Warwick, Cheltenham, Oxford, Stourbridge, and West Bromwich.
“The work was carried quickly and efficiently, with no mess. I am delighted. “
